About Melissa Lamson, President & CEO

Melissa Lamson is a sought after consultant who accelerates the goals of today's business leaders by shaping global mindsets and developing cultural continuity in organizations. Through innovative methods, experienced consultation and customized workshops, Melissa's goal is to help companies work successfully across cultures, expand globally, improve time-to-market and increase profits.

Since 2012, Melissa has written a regular column for Diversity Journal. In 2010, The Wall Street Journal named Melissa as “An award-winning consultant with an award-winning personality!” In 2008, she was named one of the top 25 female entrepreneurs by the European Management Group, and in 2007, was awarded for her work in intercultural consulting by the German Government. (Melissa lived in Germany from 1998-2008)

Melissa has recently finished her latest book, Why European Companies Fail in the US Market, And How Yours Can Succeed (due out in May 2013). She is also the author of #Cultural Transformation Tweet with contributions by Yahoo and IBM. And the previous year she published, No Such Thing as Small Talk: 7 Keys for Understanding German Business Culture.

Melissa grew up in the United States, Mexico, Spain, and France.
